Nobody likes hearing "you got it wrong." But think of a video game: every time you lose a level, the game shows you where you went wrong. If you get angry and turn off the game, you never get past that level. If you pay attention to the mistake, you go further next try.
The Bible says whoever loves correction loves knowledge, but whoever hates being corrected is a fool. Correcting isn't humiliating, it's helping you grow.
Think of a teacher fixing your messy handwriting, or a parent warning "don't do that, you could get hurt." That's not to put you down, it's because someone cares about you and wants to see you better.
God corrects those He loves, like a father corrects his child. When someone corrects you with kindness, it's a sign of love, not rejection.
Whoever loves being corrected grows faster.
