You know when you're buttoning a shirt? If you button the first button wrong, all the other ones end up crooked, no matter how hard you try to fix it.
The Bible says "Fearing the Lord" (deeply respecting God and putting Him first) is like that first button. It's the start of everything. If we get that button right (respecting God), the rest of life (school, friends, playing) falls into the right place. Whoever ignores that first button ends up with the whole "shirt of life" crooked.
