Imagine you could choose between winning a chest full of gold coins, or gaining a "superpower" that lets you solve any problem and always make the best choices in the world.
Gold runs out. You spend it and it's gone. But the "superpower" (which the Bible calls Wisdom) stays with you forever! With wisdom, you can make real friends, do well in school, and even earn the gold later, if you need it.
Today's proverb teaches that being wise (obeying God and learning) is the most valuable treasure there is, better than any expensive toy.
