Imagine you invite a friend who's covered in mud and smells bad into your room. Can your friend come in and leave the mud outside? No! If he comes in, the dirt and the bad smell come in with him.
The Bible says doing wrong (wickedness) is exactly like that muddy friend. You can't do something bad, like lie, hit, or say mean words, and keep a clean "smell." Along with the wrongdoing always comes Shame (that bad feeling of wanting to hide) and Disrespect (people get upset and stop trusting you). They always show up together.
