Imagine you're blowing up a balloon. Mom warns you: 'Careful, it's going to pop!' You keep blowing. She warns you again: 'Stop, it's too full!' You're stubborn and blow a little more. Suddenly... POP! The balloon bursts. Now there's no fixing the balloon. It's ruined forever.
The Bible says that when we do wrong things and don't listen to warnings from Dad, Mom, or God, we're like that balloon. Sooner or later the consequence comes 'POP!', and we can get really hurt. Listening to the warning is what protects the balloon!
