The Story

Have you ever tried running with your shoelace untied? It's really dangerous! You step on the lace and BAM, you fall flat on your face. Or running through a room full of Legos scattered on the floor in the dark... ouch, ouch, ouch!

The Bible says Wisdom (obeying and paying attention) is like tying your shoelace tight and turning on the bedroom light. Whoever is "wise" watches where they're walking, clears the toys out of the way, and walks carefully. That way, they don't hurt their knee or their big toe!
