The Story

Imagine you're running down a straight, well-lit hallway. You can run fast without being afraid of falling, right? That's Integrity (telling the truth). Now imagine running through a dark maze, full of twists and holes, trying to hide. Sooner or later you're going to trip, or someone's going to find you.

The Bible says whoever tells lies is walking down that crooked, dangerous path. They're always scared: "Is Mom going to find out?" But whoever tells the truth is brave and safe! They don't need to hide under the bed.

Today, let's practice the courage of truth. If an accident happens (spilling juice, breaking something), don't hide it! Run to Mom or Dad and say: "It was me, I'm sorry." You'll see that, instead of feeling scared, you'll feel relieved and safe!
