Wisdom Pill · For the grown-ups to read with the kids

The Statue of Warning

Day 8 · February · Proverbs 8:1

Today's verse

“Wisdom is like an ambulance siren: she makes noise so we pay attention and don't get hurt!”

Proverbs 8:1 · NIV

The Story

When you hear an ambulance siren on the street, what do you do? You stop and pay attention! The siren isn't shouting for no reason; it's warning that something important is happening and that you need to make room or stay safe.

The Bible says God's Wisdom is like that: she "shouts" and "calls out loud" to warn us before we get hurt. When Mom or Dad say "don't do that!", that's Wisdom's siren working. Whoever listens stays safe. Whoever ignores it gets hurt!

Today's Challenge

The Statue of Warning!

Let's play "Statue of Warning"! When Dad shouts "WARNING!", everyone freezes like a statue. Whoever moves is out. The last one standing still wins! Afterward, let's talk: just like we stop during the game, we need to stop and listen when God warns us.

Whoever listens to warnings stays safe. Whoever stops at the right time is wise!
