Champions of Truth

Day 10 · February · Proverbs 10:2

Today's verse

“Winning the game by cheating is worth nothing. Being honest and playing fair is what makes you a true champion.”

Proverbs 10:2 · NIV

The Story

Have you ever played a race or video game and someone cheated to win? That person even crosses the finish line first and grabs the trophy. But are they really a champion? No. Everybody knows they're a "fake champion." Their trophy is worth nothing.

The Bible says that earning money or gifts by doing wrong things (lying, taking something secretly) is the same as winning by cheating. It's worth nothing and leaves your heart sad. God says being Righteous (doing what's right even when nobody's watching) is the superpower that protects us from evil.
