Quick Admitters

Day 11 · February · Proverbs 11:31

Today's verse

“If Dad corrects you because he loves you, imagine how much trouble someone gets into who does bad things and has nobody to teach them?”

Proverbs 11:31 · NIV

The Story

When you do something wrong (like scribbling on the wall), Dad calls you out and gives you a time-out, right? That's annoying in the moment, but it's so you learn and become good kids. Dad corrects you because he loves you.

The Bible says: if even the good kid gets a scolding to improve, what's going to happen to the bad kid who likes to fight and lie? His bill is going to be a lot worse! He's really going to get hurt down the road. So, when you get scolded, don't get mad. Be thankful, because it saves you from bigger problems!

Today's Challenge

Quick Admitters!

Today, if something goes wrong (you break something or forget your homework), be quick to admit it! Say: "It was me, I'm sorry!"

Whoever admits the mistake quickly, fixes it quickly. Whoever hides it, makes the problem bigger!
