Do you know that kid who buries their head under the pillow when the alarm clock rings? The sun is already coming through the window, breakfast already smells good, the family is already awake, and they keep saying: "Just five more little minutes..."
The Bible's Wisdom is just like an alarm clock ringing. She keeps calling you every day: "Wake up! It's time to learn! It's time to grow!" But there are three kinds of kids who don't get up:
The first stays in bed because they like staying in bed. They think they don't need to learn anything new. The second stays in bed and still complains about the one who gets up: "What an exaggeration, waking up so early!" The third stays in bed and, when someone comes to call them, covers their ears angrily.
But the wisekid hears the alarm and jumps out of bed! They know the day has good things waiting for them. That learning is a gift, not a punishment.
Wisdom never gets tired of calling you. The question is: will you jump up or stay under the covers?
