Imagine you broke a glass by accident, and out of fear you hid the pieces under the rug and said: "I don't know anything about it!" That's building a crooked tower of blocks.
The Bible says our Father in Heaven stays watching, and he himself finds a way to frustrate the lie, just like mom who's going to sweep the rug and discover everything right away!
God makes the lie go wrong because he loves us and wants us to be brave! Jesus is the Truth. When you tell the truth, even with that little cold feeling in your tummy from saying "It was me, I'm sorry," God becomes your super-protector.
The kid who tells the truth doesn't need to be afraid of anything!
A lie is a crooked tower that God blows down. The truth is a stone castle nobody can knock down!
