Imagine you were given a whole bunch of real little sheep to take care of. If you don't feed them, don't count how many there are, and leave the pen door open, the sheep will run away or get sick!
The Bible says we have to "know how the sheep are doing." Your "little sheep" today are your toys, your school supplies, and the clothes God and your parents gave you.
If you don't take care of your things, they break or disappear. But when you put everything back in place and pay attention, you're imitating Jesus, who is the Good Shepherd and takes care of us every day with so much love!
The kid who takes good care of what they have is like a Good Shepherd, just like Jesus!
