Have you ever played treasure hunt? Imagine dad hands you a special map with the right path, marking the dangerous spots and the shortcuts that lead to the chest of gold!
Mom and dad's rules are exactly that Treasure Map. When they say "don't do that" or "always tell the truth," they're not trying to hold you back. They've already walked that path before, and they know where the mud puddles and hidden traps are!
If you throw the map away because you think you're already big enough to know everything, you might end up falling into exactly the hole that dad had marked. Jesus was the most powerful of all, and he still always obeyed his Father in Heaven. The strongest child is the one who follows the map right away!
