The Planned Mission

Day 20 · April · Proverbs 20:18

Today's Verse

“Trying to build a giant Lego set without looking at the manual and without a plan is asking for the tower to fall! The smart child studies the mission before acting!”

Proverbs 20:18 · NIV

The Story

Imagine a knight who's going to fight a dragon, but he forgets his sword, doesn't put on his armor, and doesn't even ask where the dragon went. He's going to lose the battle really fast! The Bible says we can't go into battle without making plans. Before doing something hard (like a big school project or tidying up a messy room), we need to think: "Where do I start? What am I going to need?"

Jesus said that whoever's going to build a tower has to sit down first and do the math to see if they have the right bricks. A wise child doesn't do things just any old way in a rush. They breathe, make a plan in their head, ask advice from grown-ups, and then, yes, they win the mission!

Today's Challenge

The Planned Mission

Before you start doing your homework or start a big game, you'll make a mini-plan with your parents. You'll say: "First I'll do this, then I'll grab that, and then we'll put it away."

Whoever manages to follow their own plan and finish the mission successfully today wins the Master Strategist medal!
