The Lion's Heart

Day 21 · April · Proverbs 21:29

Today's Verse

“The lion doesn't need to roar to show it's strong! The child who tells the truth and does what's right has the greatest courage in the world in their heart.”

Proverbs 21:29 · NIV

The Story

Have you seen that friend who likes to brag a lot, who talks loud, pushes others, and says "I'm the best"? The Bible says whoever does that a lot is, deep down, just pretending to be brave. Whoever has a heart full of little wrong things gets scared and needs to pretend so nobody finds out.

But the upright child, who tells the truth, obeys their parents, and takes care of things, has a different kind of strength! They don't need to show off or shout. Since they have nothing to hide, they walk with their head held high and a smile on their face. It's the courage of our Father in Heaven living inside them!

Today's Challenge

The Quiet Strength

Today's challenge is to do the coolest and bravest things (like helping someone, finishing your homework fast, or putting away a toy without anyone asking), but without bragging and saying "Look how good I am!" Real courage doesn't need advertising.

Whoever manages to be strong and kind today without needing to brag wins the Lion's Heart medal!
