Have you ever played blind man's buff, or tried walking around your room with the lights off? It's really easy to stub your toe on the furniture, isn't it? Walking alone in the dark is dangerous!
Life is like that when we try to do everything alone, without asking God or our parents for help. The Bible says that in everything we do, we need to "remember the Father in Heaven." That means stopping and thinking: "Would Jesus think this is okay? Would mom and dad approve?"
When we ask that little magic question, it's like turning on a flashlight in the dark room. The path lights up and we know exactly where to go without getting hurt!
With God's flashlight on, the right path is easy to see!
