Family is like a boat! If everyone rows together, the boat flies across the water. But if someone decides to poke a hole in the hull, everyone sinks!
Did you know the Bible says that who we choose to always have by our side is really important? If you have a friend, or you're part of a family where everyone helps each other and says nice things, you become an unbeatable team! You become each other's "crown" (a really shiny king-and-queen kind of crown).
But the Bible also says that if we spend our time fighting, throwing tantrums, or disobeying, we become a "little hole in the boat" of our family. That takes away mom and dad's joy and leaves the whole house feeling weak. Jesus wants us to be helpers! Whoever helps and loves keeps the family strong like a castle!
