Have you ever tried learning to ride a bike? At first you fall, you're scared, it feels impossible. But whoever trains every day is soon pedaling without even thinking. Soccer, swimming, guitar, drawing: you only get good if you pay the price of practice.
Proverbs 4:7 says wisdom has a price too, and the price is your effort, your time, your attention. There's no shortcut. There's no wisdom for free.
And you know who paid that price? Jesus! The Bible says in Luke 2:52: “Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.” God's own Son went through the process of growing and learning. If He invested, you can too!
