Day 9, so Proverbs 9.

The Humility Champion

Today's Verse

Do not rebuke mockers or they will hate you; rebuke the wise and they will love you.

Proverbs 9:8 · NIV

Today's Picture

“Imagine a soccer coach who says: kick with the side of your foot! Whoever gets angry never becomes a champion. Whoever listens and practices scores goals!”

Correction isn't a fight, it's help to make you better!

The Practical “Why”

When Mom or your teacher tells you that you got something wrong, you kind of want to get mad, right?

But think about it with me: they're saying it because they want to see you do better! No one corrects someone they don't love.

The Bible says something really interesting: whoever is wise LOVES it when someone corrects them. And whoever doesn't want to learn gets angry.

Even Jesus said this!

“Those whom I love, I correct.” — Revelation 3:19

When God corrects you, it's because He loves you so much!

So, next time someone corrects you, take a deep breath and say: “thank you, I'll try to do better!”

Today's Challenge

Humility Champion

Today, when someone corrects you about something, instead of getting mad, do the wise test:

Whoever does it is the Humility Champion of the day!
At the end of the day, tell your family: did you manage it?
