You know when you're in a crowded place, like a park or a mall, and mom says: hold my hand and don't let go? If you let go and run off, you could get lost and be scared. But if you hold on tight, you stay safe and get where you need to go.
The good things we learn, being honest, obeying, praying, treating others well, are like that strong hand. The Bible tells us to guard well what we've learned, to hold on tight and not let go, because that guides our life onto the right path.
And the best hand of all to hold is Jesus's: whoever walks hand in hand with Him never gets lost.
The good things you learn are the hand that guides you; hold on tight and don't let go.
