Have you ever stopped to watch a little ant? It's really tiny, but it does so much work! It carries food, builds the anthill, and gets ready for when it's going to be cold and there won't be enough food. And here's the coolest part: nobody has to keep telling it to work! It already knows what to do, and it does it.
The Bible tells us to learn from the ant: to do our tasks, like tidying our room, studying, and helping at home, without needing someone to keep telling us, and not putting everything off with that “oh, in a little bit.” Whoever does things at the right time, like the little ant, reaps good things.
And God, who is our Father, also works and takes care of us, so we work happily, knowing He helps us.
Be like the little ant: do what needs doing, without waiting to be told.
