Do you know the story of the two little houses? A smart man built his house on a nice firm rock. The other man, being lazy, built his house on soft, fluffy sand, because it was easier. On a beautiful, sunny day, both houses looked the same and looked pretty!
But then a strong storm came, with lots of wind and rain. The sand house fell down completely! And the rock house stayed firm, firm, without falling. The Bible says our life is like that: when we do what's right and obey God, it's like building on the rock.
Then, when problems and hard times come, which are the storms of life, we don't collapse, we stay firm. And the firmest Rock of all, who holds us up, is Jesus!
Whoever builds their life on Jesus and on doing right doesn't collapse when the storm comes.
