Think about a playground. To climb the stairs, you have to push, one step at a time, and it takes a little work, right? But the slide is easy: you just sit down and whoosh, you go down super fast, no effort at all!
Life is a bit like that. Good things, like learning, being honest, helping, and obeying God, are like climbing the stairs: they take some work, but they take you up, to a better place. Wrong things are like the slide: they seem easy and fun in the moment, but they take you down.
The Bible says the wise person chooses the path that goes up. And best of all: when we walk hand in hand with Jesus, He helps us climb the stairs, even when it's hard.
The right path is like climbing the stairs: it takes work, but it takes you up.
