Before anything else: God loves you before any medal. You don't need to win anything or be the best at anything for him to like you, because that love is already yours.
Have you ever seen someone receive a medal? It's a really beautiful moment. Everyone claps, takes pictures, the medal shines on the person's neck. But now think about this: who was there at the training?
Nobody took a photo of the day the person woke up early in the cold. Nobody filmed the time she made a mistake and had to do it all over again. Nobody saw when she felt like giving up and kept going anyway. The medal shows up in five minutes, but it was made from a bunch of days nobody saw.
Wisdom works just the same way. When someone is wise, everyone notices: people ask for advice, trust that person, and like being around them. That's the crown the verse is talking about. But that crown was built from small things nobody applauded, like listening when you're corrected, reading a little bit every day, and admitting when you're wrong.
And here's a really important thing: you don't need to train for God to like you more. He already likes you the same amount. We train because we want to grow, not to earn love.
