Before anything else: God loves you all the time, and he loves teaching anyone who wants to learn.
Think of something you have already learned: riding a bike, tying your shoes, swimming or reading.
Now think about this. Can anybody take that away from you? No, they cannot. A toy can break or get lost. What you learned stays.
Today's Bible verse says that learning is doing yourself a favor. It means learning is a way of taking care of you.
And here is a lovely story. Jesus went to visit two sisters, Martha and Mary. Martha ran around getting everything ready, and Mary sat down really close to Jesus to listen to what he was teaching.
Martha complained. And Jesus said something beautiful: "Mary has chosen the right thing, and it will not be taken away from her."
It means that listening to Jesus is the most valuable thing in the world, and nobody can take that out of your heart.
And learning does not only happen at school. It is asking questions, listening to good advice and reading the Bible with your family.
