Before anything else: God loves you all the time, on the good days and on the days when you do something silly.
Think about school. There is the water fountain, where everybody drinks, and there is that puddle of dirty water in the yard, where nobody drinks.
If the puddle gets dirtier today, nobody minds. Nobody was going to drink from it anyway.
But if the water fountain gets dirty, that is a real problem. Because the whole school drinks there, trusting that the water is fine.
Today's Bible verse is about exactly that. When a good person gives in and does the wrong thing, it is as if the water fountain had gone dirty.
And why is that different? Because people trusted that water.
Now the nice part: you are somebody's water fountain. There is always somebody nearby watching what you do. It might be a younger brother, a little cousin, the new classmate who arrived this year.
That is not a weight. It is a beautiful thing. It means your courage gets copied too.
That is why there is a very short sentence that saves a lot of days: I am not going.
You can say it without shouting, without fighting and without pulling a face. Just: I am not going.
And if one day your water goes dirty, because one day it does, listen to this carefully. A dirty fountain gets cleaned. God cleans us out and uses us again, always.
