Day 6, so Proverbs 6...
Proverbs 6:9 (GNT):
"How long is the lazy man going to lie around? When is he ever going to get up?"
You finished playing and left the pieces scattered in the way. An adult asked you to put them away, and you answered, "Later!" But someone needs to walk through there. Putting things away is not just about making the house look nice. It also helps care for the people who live with you.
The verse asks when the person will get up. For us, that can mean starting a task we are already able to do instead of saying "later" every time. You do not need to tidy the whole house: you can begin with your own pieces and ask for help with anything difficult.
If you are tired, you can say so and arrange a break with a trusted adult. Rest is important. This question does not give us permission to call someone lazy or make a child feel worthless. It invites us to learn to take care of our part.
God loves you when you finish the task and also when you need help. His love does not depend on your performance. Jesus teaches us to care for people, and we can learn from him one step at a time. Adults' problems are not your responsibility.
Golden Phrase: "My small act of care can help someone today."
