Day 22, so Proverbs 22.

The Trap That Smiles

Underlined Verse

The mouth of an adulterous woman is a deep pit; a man who is under the Lord's wrath falls into it.

The Trap That Smiles

Proverbs 22 · 14 · NIV

Reflection

The most dangerous traps don't come with a warning. They come with a smile.

The mouse doesn't see the trap, it only sees the cheese. A trap only works when it's invisible. That's why discernment isn't optional, it's survival.

Protection isn't willpower, it's relationship with God. Before stepping into anything that looks too good: where's the cheese, and where's the lever?

Today's Challenge

Where's the Lever?

Before you step into anything appealing today, pause: "What is this promise offering that only God can truly deliver?"

The Christ-Centered Connection

I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved.

John 10 · 9

There's only one truly safe way in. Watch and pray, discernment comes from relationship, not willpower.

Proverbs 22:14 · Matthew 26:41 · John 10:9 · John 8:44
