Imagine you're playing store and you use a rigged scale that always shows more weight than there really is. That's cheating, even if it's just a game.
The Bible says honest scales and weights belong to the Lord. That means being honest, even in small things, is a way of being like God.
Think about a game with friends: if you cheat just a little to win, it might seem like it doesn't matter, but deep down you're being dishonest, even in something small. Real honesty proves itself in the details no one is watching.
Jesus never used a "rigged scale" in anything He did or said. He was honest to the end, even when it cost Him a lot. When we choose to be honest in small things, we're learning to be like Jesus.
Being honest in small things is training to be honest in big ones.
