Wisdom Pill · For the grown-ups to read with the kids

Passing the Baton

Day 4 · February · Proverbs 4:3-5

Today's verse

“Dad teaches you so you can win the race of life. Wisdom is a treasure that passes from hand to hand.”

Proverbs 4:3-5 · NIV

The Story

Have you ever seen a relay race? One runner sprints as fast as they can, and when they get close to their teammate, they pass the baton so the other can keep going. If the baton falls, the team loses. The secret is to hold it tight, run hard, and pass it carefully!

The Bible says Solomon's grandfather taught Solomon's father, who taught Solomon, who is teaching us to this very day! It's a chain of wisdom that can't be dropped. Dad is passing the baton to you. Hold it carefully and run well!

Today's Challenge

Passing the Baton!

Today Dad is going to say an important family rule. The kids repeat the rule and say: "I've kept it in my heart!" with their hand on their chest.

Congratulations! You just received the baton. Don't drop it!
