That's the "Friend of the Toy." He only wants to use your ball or your video game. The day the toy breaks, he'll go off to play with someone else. That's not real friendship, that's business friendship!
The True Friend is different. He shares his snack, helps you up when you fall, and finds it fun to play with you even with no toy around. What he really likes is your company!
Jesus was the greatest True Friend who ever existed. He didn't come to gain anything from us, but to give everything for us.
The true friend likes you, not what you have. That's the kind of friend our Father in Heaven wants you to be!
