The Story
Imagine you're learning to play soccer. The coach says: 'You need to work on your left-footed shot.' You have two choices: make a face, cross your arms, and say 'I don't need to, I'm already good!', or practice that left foot with heart and become an even better player!
The Bible says whoever chooses the second path, whoever agrees to learn and improve, will go far and have the best friends and teachers around them. Criticism isn't the enemy. It's the map to the next level!
Today's Challenge
Champion Ears
Ask your mom or dad: 'What do you think I could improve?', and listen without making a face, without arguing back, and without getting defensive. Just listen, say thank you, and think about how you could improve.
