You can have the highest IQ in the world and still make foolish decisions. The difference between intelligence and Wisdom isn't cognitive. It's positional.
The Beginning: The Head
"Beginning" in Hebrew (reshith) means the head, the start, what comes first. It isn't a metaphorical foundation; it's the literal starting point. Wisdom isn't a building you can construct on any lot. It begins at a specific address: the Fear of the Lord. Without that address, you can accumulate knowledge, but not Wisdom.
Fear as Positioning
"The fear of the Lord" isn't irrational dread; it's recognizing that God is God and you are not. It's the posture of a child who respects his father, not out of fear of being hit, but because he understands his father knows more. That positioning unlocks access. When you position yourself correctly in relation to God, other relationships, decisions, and projects naturally fall into line.
Knowledge of the Holy One
"Knowledge of the Holy One" is the understanding that comes from knowing God personally. Not academic theology, but real relationship. The understanding that comes from spending time with God is different from the understanding that comes from spending time with books about Him. Practical Wisdom is born from direct contact with the Source.

Collins discovered that the difference between mediocre companies and the ones that won wasn't collective IQ, but strategic positioning: clarity about what the company did best, what sustained it financially, and what people were passionate about (the Hedgehog Concept). Correct positioning unlocks capacity that was previously blocked by dispersion. "The fear of the Lord" does the same thing: it positions the individual so their capacity flows in the right direction.
“O Poder da Autorresponsabilidade” — Paulo Vieira
Vieira teaches that a person's level of results is a direct consequence of the level of beliefs they've installed. Whoever believes they're the center of the universe (the opposite of the fear of the Lord) makes decisions that collide with reality. Whoever understands their place (correct positioning) acts with humility and realism, which accelerates learning and results. "The fear of the Lord" is the most powerful positioning belief there is.
Colossians 2:3 says that in Christ "are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge." Ground Zero of all Wisdom is in Christ. Whoever knows Him personally has access to the complete repository of divine Wisdom.
Jesus demonstrated the perfect Fear of the Lord. Even being God, He lived in total dependence on the Father, praying, obeying, and serving. He is the perfect model of correct positioning. In Christ, the Fear of the Lord isn't terror, it's sonship: the confidence of a child who knows the Father knows more.
