When you're honest, God becomes your public relations department and your defense.

Before Pilate, they tried to find some fraud in him, but the Roman governor himself declared: "I find no basis for a charge against him" (John 18:38). Christ's integrity was unassailable.
And because of His perfect righteousness, today, when we're in Him, God covers us with His grace. Psalm 91 says that God's truth is our shield and rampart. When we walk in the light, the blood of Jesus purifies us and the Father protects us from all evil. Our eternal security is built on the Son's perfect honesty.
